Commissioners approve $32,600 lawn-care contract and on-call engineering agreement pending attorney review

The Board approved a 2026 lawn care and treatment contract from A+ Plus Outdoor Services covering the Courthouse, Judicial Center, Veterans Office, and Sheriff's Department for $32,600. The contract includes 28 mows and four treatment rounds, according to Building Commissioner Daulton Anderson.
Commissioner Drew Storey also presented a General Engineering Services Agreement with Butler, Fairman & Seufert to provide on-call engineering services; Storey said the County "has not had a County Engineer for some time" and moved to approve the agreement pending the County Attorney's review. Commissioner Stauffer seconded the motion and both items carried 3–0. The lawn-care contract and the engineering agreement (pending attorney review) are intended to address routine maintenance and provide engineering support as needed.
