County approves peer recovery contracts after $10,000 grant increase

Brewer told the Board the increased grant funding "allow[ed] pay increases to these individuals," and that staff had been unable to provide increases until the additional funds became available. The agreements cover Bernard Joseph Madden III and Brooke Lane as independent contractors supporting peer recovery services. The motion to approve the contractor agreements was made by Commissioner Storey, seconded by Commissioner Stauffer, and carried 3–0.
