Middle school reports high NOMAD participation and extracurricular successes

Trisha Roach, Middle School Principal, said 146 students took part in a recent NOMAD (no missing assignments day) event that included activities and popsicles. She reported extracurricular successes: MS Wrestling finished first in a cumulative tournament, and seven MS students attended FFA sub-districts in Chelan.
Roach also noted professional development efforts addressing ELL strategies and the Healthy Youth Survey context. She reported that MS music teacher Kasey McNett was named MVP for MS this week and that the Survivor Ball fundraiser raised $500 for the American Heart Association.
