On Jan. 6 the Salem Township Board of Auditors voted unanimously to table Resolution No. 01-2026, a formal resolution described as "approving and confirming the compensation for roadmasters for 2026." The motion to table was made by Auditor David Leitza and seconded by Auditor Nick Cornell.
The board also moved to advertise and conduct a second auditors meeting on Jan. 21, 2026 at 6:30 p.m. "for the purpose of approving the Auditors Meeting Minutes of January 6th, 2026 and approving Resolution 1-2026. No other business will be conducted at this meeting," the motion stated. The meeting adjourned at 6:46 p.m.
