Board approves Recorder office vendor switch, fee updates and clerk hire

The Faribault County Board on Feb. 3 authorized the Interim County Recorder to terminate the current credit-card vendor and enter an agreement with Certified Payments for card processing, and it approved Laredo subscription fees through Fidlar for 2026. Interim Recorder Kelly Hendrickson presented the office update.
The board also approved an updated Recorder fee schedule: passport photos $20; Ordination Certificate of Filing $50; research/document retrieval $50 per hour; Government Corner Book $5 per certificate; and removal of the off-hour emergency issue fee. Separately, the board unanimously approved hiring Korissa Libra as a clerk in the Recorder's office.
