Commission approves cereal malt beverage license and temporary credit-card increases

On Dec. 16 the Cherokee County Board of Commissioners approved several administrative items including a cereal malt beverage license and temporary adjustments to county credit-card limits.
County Clerk Rebecca Brassart presented an off-premise cereal malt beverage license application for Pittsburg Truck Stop; Commissioner Cory Moates moved and Commissioner Lorie Johnson seconded approval, and the motion passed unanimously. Brassart also requested a temporary credit-card limit increase to buy carts approved at a previous meeting; the Board approved a temporary raise of $13,941.64 for the clerk’s card. Separately, the Board approved raising the maintenance card’s monthly limit to $5,000 on a permanent basis.
These administrative approvals were recorded in the minutes with unanimous support and no conditions attached.
