Sheriff Russell Thornton recommended replacing the department’s current Omnigo records system with Enterpol. Thornton said Omnigo costs about $28,000 per year and that Enterpol will cost $48,975.00 the first year because it includes server replacement and data migration; costs will be significantly lower in subsequent years because Enterpol bundles features that Omnigo charges for as add‑ons. Thornton stated the Omnigo contract runs out in April and recommended the switch.
Commissioners approved the Enterpol contract as presented; the motion passed unanimously, 3‑0. The board did not record additional conditions beyond the approval recorded in the minutes.
