Michael Swartz of Unified Fleet Services told the commission the firm's resale estimates historically exceed the remaining balance on leased vehicles and noted "there is no obligation to sell the vehicle through them."
After questions about resale timing and potential fees, the commission moved to approve the Unified Fleet Service Agreement following county attorney review for five Tahoes. The motion passed unanimously, 3‑0. Commissioners discussed selling via Unified Fleet but retained the option to sell vehicles themselves if the resale estimates were low.
