At 10:09 a.m. on June 9 the Board of County Commissioners recessed the public meeting to an executive session. Commissioner Judy Dodge moved to recess and Commissioner Mary A. McDonald seconded; the roll call vote was unanimous (Dodge, McDonald and Commissioner Carolyn Rice voted aye).
The executive session, which covered appointments, dismissals, promotions, job postings, resignations, discipline, pending litigation, employments and economic development, included a personnel presentation by Michael B. Colbert. Colbert presented a package of personnel actions including suspensions, reclassifications, full-time regular appointments, temporary upgrades, promotions within departments, temporary pay supplements, probationary removals, class changes for those receiving certification, transfers within departments, co-op appointments, administrative leave with pay and other miscellaneous personnel matters. The executive session adjourned at 10:35 a.m., and the regular meeting reconvened briefly and was then adjourned at 10:36 a.m.
