Auditor draws St. Onge (08) and Rural #2 (10) for manual count in post‑election audit

The races selected by random draw for audit review include the statewide United States Representative contest in both precincts, the Republican Precinct Committeewoman race in St. Onge (08), and the School Board 40‑2 contest in Rural #2 (10).
McGruder cited SDCL 12‑17B‑20 as the statutory basis for the post‑election audit procedure and explained the law defines the precinct selection method used for the manual count.
