Kaylee James, director of finance, told commissioners the estimated resurfacing would require approximately 3,015 tons of asphalt and that some areas may require full‑depth replacement.
Commissioners asked whether homeowners will share costs and whether the northern section outside city limits would be included; James said funding and participation details would be determined if the homeowners association moves forward and that only areas annexed into the city would be eligible for city work. “We’ve kinda gone back and forth with them over the years…so it’s still in the budget,” James said.
