The Selectboard received an update on municipal preparations tied to America 250 and routine public-works projects. Board materials credited R. White and the highway department for installing red, white and blue lighting around town and noted that footings for flashing crosswalks have been installed and the highway crew will assemble the units.
The skate park had trees planted and picnic tables set; a contract is in place to complete the second half of the project and officials said the project should be completed by the end of summer. The town also reported 2026 paving work on Durkee and Depot being performed by Blaktop. Utilities budgeting for the next fiscal period was flagged for a future agenda.
