Fulton County commissioners voted May 21 to transfer $75,000 from the Solid Waste Management Fund (2415) into the Board of Developmental Disabilities Fund (2520) to support recycling and waste-prevention activities performed by the Board of DD under grant guidelines.
The resolution notes that on Feb. 6, 2026 grant funding of $130,000 was paid into the Solid Waste Management Fund; $75,000 of that grant will be transferred to fund the Board of DD's recycling operations. Commissioner Joe Short moved the resolution; the motion passed unanimously, 3-0. The resolution directs the appropriate appropriation and transfer entries be made in county accounts.
