The Fulton County Board of Commissioners voted May 21 to increase and transfer appropriations across several departments, most notably authorizing $1,114,000 for Airport construction under account 4130-20100-5-72001 and $89,000 for Airport engineering (4130-20100-5-72000) as part of Resolution 2026-345.
The resolution also approved a $50,000 increase for Fulton Waterline contract services (5208-62903-5-41001) and $30,000 for Elmira/Burlington Sewer contract services (5105-62903-5-41000). Within the Engineer (ENG) fund the board reallocated $113,400 from unappropriated balance into salary and related payroll accounts and transferred $49,610 from vehicle expenses to hospital insurance for the ENG department. Commissioner R.J. Lumbrezer moved the resolution; the motion passed unanimously, 3-0.
The actions authorize the auditor and commissioners' office to update appropriations and transfers so county departments can proceed with planned capital work and payroll adjustments.
