Public Works Supervisor Taylor Keith told the council that pothole and curb repairs are planned for the first full week of March. The department also reported an emergency line repair near the business identified as "K9 Heaven." Keith said the town recorded 176 tons of salt this winter, described in the meeting minutes as a record year for salt usage.
Keith said staff are coordinating with Hope Gas on project timing so paving can occur after utility work is finished. No specific paving dates or project costs were provided at the Feb. 25 meeting; the public-works report will return for status updates as work is scheduled and completed.
