At the start of public comment, Anita Eaton spoke about perceived issues with Planning Commission minutes being approved without review and questioned Planning Commission duties, Firelight cross-sections and the nightly rental transfer ordinance. Ray Bence said his request for a meeting with the City Council had been denied; council members addressed his concerns during the forum. Mike Franzies raised questions about a traffic study conducted for the Transportation Master Plan; Assistant City Manager Darrin LeFevre responded to Mr. Franzies' comments.
Council members acknowledged the comments and provided brief responses but did not reverse prior approvals during the public forum. Several items raised by public commenters were addressed later in the agenda within related business items.
