Board approves CTE advisory committee and 21st Century grant application for Etna High

The Scott Valley Unified Board approved two items related to student programs at its Oct. 15 meeting: formation/appointment of a CTE (Career and Technical Education) Advisory Committee, and authorization to apply for 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) and After School Safety and Enrichment for Teens funding for Etna High School.
The CTE advisory committee was approved on motion by Trustee Jim Harris with a second from Trustee Jason Finley. The 21st Century grant application was moved by Trustee Sandy Hogge and seconded by Trustee Jim Harris. Both motions passed by roll-call votes recorded in the minutes as 4 Ayes, 0 Noes, 1 Absent.
