Industry asks FDA to study more functional groups for CPCA coverage

"Is FDA thinking of doing some studies to, like, expand the CPCA a little more, add more functional tubes? Esters and sulfonyls come to mind," the participant asked. FDA staff replied that a specific expert handles that area and that the question will be forwarded for further consideration; staff also said the CPCA has resolved many problems but acknowledged remaining gaps.
