County reports progress on Station 9 renovation and burn-building training site

Anderson said the Station 9 renovation in Mountville began last week, with interior demo complete and metal skin removed; crews expected to pressure-wash, prime and re-skin the building this week and move to interior build-out soon.
Fire staff also reported progress on the burn-building training site: Connex trailers have been delivered and site clearing and grading work is nearly finished, with staff projecting the training area will be ready by the first weeks of September.
