The Solid Waste & Recycling Committee of the Lincoln Parish Police Jury voted unanimously March 10 to approve a contract award to Lemoine Industrial Group, LLC for construction of Cell B at the Lincoln Parish landfill. Bob Myers of the Riley Company of Louisiana, Inc. was present to recommend approving the low bid from Lemoine Industrial Group, LLC of Plaquemine, La. in the amount of $865,195.80.

Dan Lord moved to approve the bid and to authorize the president to sign documents related thereto; Karen Ludley seconded. The motion carried with yeas from Ludley, Cranford, Lord and Hunt. No abstentions or no votes were recorded.
