City staff told commissioners the application satisfies the supplemental use regulations in section 46-110 of the city code, meets setback requirements, and includes a vinyl fence, landscape screening, and notarized letters certifying compliance with FAA, EIA and other federal/state standards. Staff recommended approval with conditions: cap the monopole at 165 feet, require maintained screening and landscaping, and require notification to the city within 30 days of any ownership change. No members of the public spoke at the public hearing, and the commission voted to recommend approval of conditional use permit number 2026-01; the council will consider final action.
