Allen County Election Board Director Amy Scrogham requested and the board approved an agreement with D&G Transportation for placement and transportation of voting machines for the primary election. Scrogham told commissioners there are 649 machines and 87 supply boxes to service voters in Allen County and that the shift to voting centers leaves the general-election placement plan uncertain.
Commissioner Ronald W. Turpin moved approval; Commissioner Therese M. Brown seconded and the motion carried 3-0. The agreement is limited to the primary election per the minutes.
