Chair Patricia Sullivan reported that site visits have been completed for Progress Foundation, Serenity, and Stanford Sierra Youth & Families, and that Stanford Sierra is exploring local office space. Member Kristine Haataja said workgroup reports for completed visits will be included in the next Executive Committee packet; a Mentis site visit remains pending and scheduling will consider group size.
The committee discussed a potential site tour of a new facility around September after initial construction phases but before opening, and Assistant Director Joseph Hallett cautioned that construction completion does not automatically permit operations because licensing, certification and fire clearance are required. Members reviewed the draft May 13 BHB agenda, which includes a BHSA public hearing and a proclamation for Mental Health Month by Supervisor Liz Alessio, and confirmed that Partnership will present on transportation benefits at the June 10 meeting.
