The City of Green Lake/Town of Brooklyn Fire Commission met July 30, 2025, at the firehouse and approved a series of routine items, including minutes and departmental invoices.
Commissioners voted to approve the June 25, 2025 meeting minutes (motion by LuAnn Mirr‑Frank, seconded by Christopher Foos). The First Responders report for July was distributed and reviewed by Christopher Foos and was approved on a motion by James Hebbe with a second from Ron Triemstra; the report recorded $0.00 in expenses for the month. Assistant Chief Chad Holdorf reviewed the Fire Chief’s report, which showed July expenses of $12,387.85; that report and the invoices were approved on a motion by Hebbe, seconded by Foos. The meeting concluded with a motion to adjourn moved by Hebbe and seconded by Mirr‑Frank.
The commission did not take any final action on the preliminary 2026 budget at this meeting; budget materials were distributed for future consideration. The next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at 6:00 P.M.
