President Steve Nagle called the special meeting to order at 2:30 p.m. The board recorded members present as Steve Nagle, Brent Lunde, Rick Jackson, Johnie Thomsen and Mike Serpa; Dr. Ryan Phelan, superintendent, was listed among others present. Board member Rick Jackson moved to approve the agenda (M163-2526); Johnie Thomsen seconded and the motion passed unanimously, 5 ayes and 0 noes.
The board entered closed session from 2:31 p.m. to 2:41 p.m. to consider a student discipline matter (case KHS-04-2526). After reporting out of closed session, the board approved the expulsion agreement for that case and then took a motion from Johnie Thomsen to adjourn at 2:42 p.m.; Mike Serpa seconded and the adjournment motion carried 5-0. The minutes note signatures for the president and clerk of the board.
