Fulton County seeks $750,000 aviation grant to replace aging airport fuel tanks

Commissioner Jeff Rupp told the board the airport has two aging underground tanks that "when it rains, they float" and that staff must pump water out to avoid problems; the county would be required to cover about 10% of the project cost if the grant is awarded. The resolution authorizes the county to commit matching funds, apply for the grant, and enter into a grant contract and related documents with ODOT if selected.
