Fulton County awards $150,813 pavement-marking contract to Griffin Striping LLC

The Fulton County Board of Commissioners voted 3-0 on May 26 to award the 2026 Pavement Marking Program contract to Griffin Striping LLC for $150,813.00, adopting the Fulton County engineer’s recommendation.
Commissioners said the bid came in slightly below the engineer’s estimate of $151,358.00 and that three bids were received at the May 20 bid opening. According to the resolution text, a contract will be issued to Griffin Striping LLC for the work on behalf of the county engineer. Mr. Onweller is recorded in the minutes as recommending the award.
The motion to accept the recommendation was made by Commissioner R.J. Lumbrezer and seconded by Commissioner Jeff Rupp; the vote was recorded as 3-0 in favor. The resolution (2026-354) formalizes the award and directs that a contract be executed.
