Commissioners approve water-line crossing, accept $520,000 renegotiated invoice for Maple Hill Road overlay

Road & Bridge Superintendent Josh Hinch presented a Request and Petition for a water line to cross Burr Oak Road for a residence; Hinch said Alma Township approved the request with additional terms and the commissioners approved the request. The petition was recorded as accepted during the Road & Bridge update.
Hinch also presented a renegotiated invoice from Shilling addressing the overage from the Maple Hill Road overlay. Commissioners agreed to the renegotiated total of $520,000. Hinch reported crews are mowing roadsides ahead of the Memorial Day holiday, thanked crews for extra work clearing storm-related structures, and said a third dump truck is ready for pick up later this week.
