"This includes a new 20% rental discount at the recreation center and pavilions for full and part time employees who work at least 15 hours per week," staff said while outlining the proposed changes. The water and wastewater increase will take effect Oct. 1 and was estimated to add about $3–4 per month for a typical household, depending on usage. Council approved the resolution by a unanimous voice vote, 5‑0.
Staff told the council they benchmarked the discount against practices in neighboring cities and recommended the update to keep rates aligned with operations and cost indices. The updated schedule will be available during regular business hours and posted with the town clerk's office.
