Council authorizes TPA application for Grenell Circle Pathway project; no local match required

Council voted unanimously to authorize the town manager to submit an application to the Palm Beach Transportation Planning Agency (TPA) for Transportation Alternatives Program funding for the Grenell Circle Pathway Project.
Director Crockett described the project as widening sidewalks to approximately 6 feet in the Granville Circle area, improving ADA connections to bus stops and enhancing pedestrian safety in a heavily used area. Crockett said the grant would be no cost to the municipality if awarded. "This is an opportunity for a grant that is no cost to the municipality," he said, and council asked a series of clarification questions about width and routing. The council voted 5–0 to approve Resolution R05-2025 and authorized the town manager to execute the application and amendments if needed.
