Commissioners opened bids for the third round of Jay County's Owner‑Occupied Rehab project on July 21 and took the submissions under advisement for review by EGIS.
Bidders included five submissions from Dave's Heating & Cooling; two from Mustard Seed Remodeling for roofing; two from Fortitude Design & Consulting for roofing; two from All Circuit Electrical for electrical repairs; and two from Mooreland Roofing & Construction for roofing. Commissioners did not award contracts at the meeting; Duane Monroe moved to take the bids under advisement for EGIS review, Doug Horn seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
Two claims related to the program also appeared later in the meeting: a claim to Mustard Seed Remodeling for $46,449.17 and a claim to Dave's Heating & Cooling for $3,762, both approved as emergency claims during the meeting.
