Other commenters raised noise and water concerns. Luke Fleischman described a prior meeting where a neighbor's phone read 62 decibels while the Dominion representative discussed expected noise of roughly 65 decibels. One resident asked the commission to 'pause the plan' and consider the long-term effects on the reservoir, saying "That is not your water to give away." Residents repeatedly asked for clearer information on setbacks, minimum lot sizes, and how the county would preserve rural character if industrial uses are allowed in District 1.
