Council voted to approve a proposal from CBC Architects Inc. for a conceptual site master plan for the Lantana Beach improvement project in the amount of $299,450. Town staff said the 7.19-acre beach, a major town asset, was prioritized at a prior visioning session and the conceptual master plan is the next step to inform future engineering and construction work.
Town Manager Ranucci explained the town will coordinate early engineering to avoid duplicated costs and roll conceptual design into subsequent site-plan work. Council approved the proposal and authorized the town manager to execute the agreement and any amendments (5-0).
