The Royal City Council approved additional improvements at the corner of Acacia and Apple Avenue to prepare the corridor for future growth, including relocating a manhole and fire hydrant and installing a sewer stub-out.
Public Works Director Mauricio Romero said the changes will prevent future tearing up of the new street and cited an estimate of $70,000 from Anderson Perry & Associates. "Estimated cost is $70,000.00, per Anderson Perry & Associates," Romero reported. The council recorded a motion to approve the work; the minutes record the motion carried as presented.
