Suffield Housing Authority says wait list closed with 50 people; senior activities ongoing

Jason Joyce of the Suffield Housing Authority told commissioners that “The housing wait list officially closed on March 31, 2026. There are 50 people on the wait list.” He said the Authority is managing existing operations while continuing seniors programming and planning new outdoor activities.
Joyce reported that Easter Bingo with seniors was well attended and that gift cards and canned goods have been received to replenish pantry stock. He said barbecue planning will begin shortly and the Authority is looking to add outdoor programming to engage residents.
