The Duchesne County Commission accepted the Independent Auditor’s Report for the year ending Dec. 31, 2025, after Larson & Company partner Jon Haderlie presented the financial statements and identified one compliance finding: the Long Term Health Fund is underfunded and should be budgeted at least a 5% increase rather than the 3% currently budgeted.
The board approved routine financial and administrative items by unanimous votes: payroll for the period ending July 18, 2026 totaling $927,869.65 (236 employees paid); vouchers for July 27, 2026 (checks 173531–173680) totaling $1,171,852.85; a roster of 18 county volunteers; and two business licenses for Dye Electric & Automation (Joshua Dye, Roosevelt) and Cody Hansen Construction (Cody Hansen, Fruitland). The commission also approved the minutes of the July 13, 2026 meeting.
