During the May 11 meeting the Minidoka County Board of Commissioners approved a slate of routine administrative actions, including acceptance of claims, approval of corrected deeds and approval of minutes from May 4 with minor corrections.
Other motions carried included waiving a permit fee for a building at the off‑highway vehicle course, approving a casualty loss tax application for a burned property at 3150 S Hwy 24 #13, Heyburn (parcel #MH001050) with a value to cancel of $4,412.00 for tax year 2026, and signing a memorandum of understanding between the Mini‑Cassia Juvenile Detention Center and Cassia County (two originals were signed so each party retained an original). These items were moved and seconded by commissioners and recorded as "motion carried" in the minutes. The minutes do not attach supporting documentation such as deed paperwork, casualty loss forms, or the full MOU text.
