Tonkawa approves $20,651.63 purchase for 44th Street lift station pump; installation planned Oct. 22

The board considered a purchase quote from Edward's Equipment for a Barnes Vertical Dry Pit 15 hp 460‑volt pump at $20,651.63.
Trustee Charles Conaghan moved to approve the Edwards Equipment quote and Trustee Kenneth Smith seconded; the motion passed with recorded ayes from Trustees Harris, Conaghan, Burns and Smith and Trustee Simpson absent. Ross indicated the existing pump would be retained as a backup at the Rogers Lift Station.
