During continued review of the zoning regulations the commission directed specific edits to two sections. For Section 7.6 (home businesses) the commission agreed to change the number of employees allowed in subsection b to a maximum of three, to remove subsection c, and to require that home businesses exceeding limits obtain a conditional use permit. These edits were recorded as part of the commission’s review notes.
For Section 7.8 (mobile home parks) the commission agreed to change the definition of a mobile home park to "3 + mobile homes on a lot," eliminate a requirement to put utilities underground in item 6, and asked Regional Planner Emily Klofft to draft additional language addressing whether to change density for mobile home parks and to set maximum/minimum spacing for internal park lots. Commissioners indicated they will begin definitions at the next meeting so these wording and density changes can be placed into zoning text for formal review.
