On a motion by Lisa Curry and seconded by Amy Cieloha, the board accepted retirements for Mark Brown (Maintenance Supervisor, 19 years), Marie Knight (Business Manager, 18 years), Pete Weisel (MS/HS Counselor, 18 years), Sena Wilmoth (Mist 3rd-5th teacher, 5 years) and Theresa Gray (Instructional Assistant, 25 years). The motion passed unanimously with all members present voting in favor.
Superintendent Jim Helmen recognized the employees for their years of service during his report. The district will post positions and begin recruitment processes for roles vacated by these retirements.
