The Solano County Board of Supervisors approved a lot-line adjustment application (LLA-2403) to transfer two 24,950-square-foot portions between adjacent parcels on Mix Canyon Road to remedy an encroachment of an existing home and septic system.
James Buzick, director of Resource Management, introduced the staff presentation and turned the discussion to Senior Planner Eric Wilberg, who explained the proposal to transfer acreage so the Williams property can rebuild a residence destroyed in the LAU fire. Wilberg said the adjustment transfers a northern home-site area to the Williams parcel and an offsetting parcel to maintain no-net-change in ownership acreage and compliance with the county subdivision ordinance.
Wilberg also explained the rescind-and-replace of the Williams Williamson Act contract; the replacement contract carries an initial 10-year term with annual automatic renewals and retains contracted acreage within agricultural use. Supervisor Wanda Williams asked to confirm that the property would remain enrolled under the Williamson Act after the change; staff confirmed that approval of the resolution will keep the parcels in the program. The board approved the resolution and associated actions by a 5-0 vote.
