Administrator John Pechman presented Resolution No. 26-06-01 to appoint election judges for the Aug. 11, 2026 primary and the Nov. 3, 2026 general election. Pechman said the listed individuals will receive required county training and noted that Susan Frame is unable to serve and will be removed from the list. Council member Marie Rivers moved to approve the resolution; Council member Nikki Battles seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
Pechman also reported that the Economic Development Authority interviewed Vicki Stute for a vacant EDA position and that the EDA "unanimously recommended her appointment." Council member Rivers moved to accept Stute to the EDA; Council member Battles seconded and the motion passed with all ayes.
The minutes record these as formal approvals; the Council did not discuss additional changes to the election judge roster beyond the removal of an unavailable appointee, and there was no discussion of EDA duties beyond a summary of Stute's background.
