Caln Township will begin a conditional-use hearing on Aug. 27 at 6:30 p.m. for Vet Fixer LLC, which proposes to lease roughly 7,200 square feet in Cowen Plaza for an adult training facility. Solicitor Camp explained the municipal planning code requires the township to start the hearing within 60 days unless the applicant grants an extension; the applicant declined an extension. The board scheduled the hearing to begin one hour before the regular Aug. 27 meeting; Vet Fixer is also scheduled before the Planning Commission on Aug. 18 for a recommendation.
The solicitor noted he expects the hearing may require more than one session because the applicant is not represented by counsel and several parties may request time to present; the board agreed to start on Aug. 27 and continue if necessary.
