Board approves temporary parking suspension to allow Wedgwood seal-coating work

Caln Township commissioners voted unanimously to temporarily suspend no-parking regulations on the outer rim of Wedgewood Drive to accommodate a multi-phase seal-coating and paving project affecting Delphi Court, Bianca Circle, Astor Court, Bridal Court, Ashley Court and Nancy Lane.
A Wedgwood community representative, Kim (speaker 8), told the board the homeowners association will supply an on-site property manager and has a towing contract to keep emergency access clear. "We are requesting approval for parking on Wedgewood Drive as that is a Caln Township road for upcoming seal coating project," Kim said during the presentation. Township staff and the police advised the HOA that enforcement of a public-road parking suspension must be handled by township officers and asked for advance written notifications and overflow-parking agreements with nearby commercial property managers.
The board discussed contingencies and set the suspension "for up to 2 months" based on contractor estimates and weather; the motion was moved and seconded and carried 5–0. The board also requested copies of resident notifications and a single point of contact for daily operations during the work so police and public works can coordinate towing and emergency access.
