Resident urges county to pursue recycled asphalt from nearby projects to fix local roads

Commissioners responded that the road department (Sean and Matt) and the road district could coordinate to see if hauling and timing make the material feasible for local use.
Commissioners agreed to follow up: one commissioner said the first step is confirming availability of the material and then arranging transport. Staff and a commissioner noted tradeoffs such as increased speeds and dust but suggested rolling the material after placement will improve binding and durability.
