Commission notified of Flaming Gorge flow reductions and of FERC pre-construction notice for Wild Trail project

"The releases from Flaming Torch down to 1,600 by the 14th at midnight," the chair said, describing a staged reduction from 8,600 cubic feet per second with daily decreases; commissioners outlined expected daily drop amounts and timing. Separately, the chair said the county received formal notice tied to a FERC application to increase and improve system components for a compressor project; pre-construction requirements will include environmental mitigation and technical specifications and the county will forward materials as appropriate.
Commissioners noted the update for situational awareness and said staff would distribute the FERC notice and any required materials to interested parties.
