Board approves inclusion of 21.31 acres into Agricultural Security Area

The Board opened a public hearing on the application by Rick Huckfeldt and Megan Nix to include roughly 21.31 acres on James Road in Upper Hanover Township's Agricultural Security Area. Both applicants were present; Solicitor Joseph Bresnan opened the hearing and entered exhibits into the record.
Resident John Johnson asked about an old barn in disrepair on one of the parcels; Huckfeldt said restoration would be desirable but current finances do not permit it, adding that preservation could change that possibility. By verbal resolution, assigned Resolution No. 2024-35, the Board approved the ASA inclusion 4-0.
