Resident's request for 6-foot privacy fence at 1001 Stevie Lane approved

Chairperson Steven R. Rothenberger opened the Upper Hanover Township Board of Supervisors meeting on Sept. 10, 2024. During the Planning Matters portion of the agenda, Mrs. Jessmer was sworn and testified that she and her husband would like to install a 6' privacy fence along their property line within 6' of the ultimate right-of-way, citing safety due to bus-stop traffic and privacy concerns.
There were no questions from board members or the public. The Board approved the Conditional Use Application 4-0 on a motion by Assistant Secretary Dottie Diehl, seconded by Tim Woodward. The approval authorizes the taller fence where the ordinance otherwise limits height by right; no additional conditions were recorded in the meeting minutes.
