Supervisors approve capital purchases, Local Share grant submissions and 36‑month energy procurement

Township Manager Anne Klepfer presented several administrative items for Board action. Supervisors approved carpeting replacement from Carpet and Tile Mart (Lomax) for $1,779.56. The Board adopted Resolution No. 2024‑41 to authorize submittal of a Local Share (Statewide) grant application for $180,626 for lift equipment on behalf of the Upper Perkiomen Valley Ambulance Association. They also adopted Resolution No. 2024‑42 to authorize submittal of a Local Share grant request for a replacement Granite Mack truck and dump body in the amount of $300,000.
Separately, the Board approved a 36‑month energy procurement quote from Direct Energy and authorized advertisement of a Snow Emergency Ordinance for public notice. These administrative approvals set the Township up to seek external grant funding for capital equipment and to lock an energy procurement price for the coming contract term.
