Supervisors accept bridge and shop repairs quotes; authorize Gilmore to proceed on St. Paul's Church Road bridge design

By motion the Board accepted Gillespie Electric's lighting maintenance quote for the Road Department shop in the amount of $14,950, conditioned on applying an $8,774.07 credit on the Township account to lower the net out‑of‑pocket cost. Supervisors also approved Improvements Surety Bond Reduction #2 for $1,424,209.62 for completed items.
Engineer Peter Eisenbrown reported that the St. Paul's Church Road bridge replacement is funded by a Multi‑Modal Grant; Gilmore & Associates have updated their proposal for design, permitting, bid administration and construction support with $244,263 remaining to complete the consultant's scope. The Board voted unanimously to accept Gilmore's revised proposal and to authorize them to proceed with obtaining permits and final design work.
No construction contract was awarded at the meeting; the Board authorized continued engineering and permitting work to keep the project on schedule for competitive bidding.
